This position is ideal for a professional with a minimum of five years of litigation defense experience, a Bachelor's degree, and/or a Paralegal Certificate. # Overview of Defense Litigation/Toxic Tort Paralegal Position Law Firm is looking for an experienced Defense Litigation/Toxic Tort Paralegal to join our dynamic team and provide support in our Midtown East office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of litigation defense experience, a Bachelor's degree, and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution. ## Responsibilities of Defense Litigation/Toxic Tort Paralegal The Defense Litigation/Toxic Tort Paralegal will be responsible for: - Discovery tracking - Trial preparation - Record assembly - General coordination of New York and New Jersey cases - Maintaining 1600 hours/year billing requirement ## Qualifications of Defense Litigation/Toxic Tort Paralegal The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Minimum of five years of litigation defense experience - Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution - Excellent communication and organization skills - Strong attention to detail ## Salary and Benefits The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K plan, and paid time off.
