Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work alongside a supervising attorney to assist in the preparation of petitions and supporting documentation, prepare cases for court, and communicate with other agencies. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of cases. Assist in developing systems and structures to maximize efficiency. Will perform intake of cases, draft petitions, applications, and letters. Should have proficiency in common software applications, such as Word. Works well under pressure, able to adapt to changing situations. Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. Customer service and client communication skills. Prepare forms and collection of supporting documents. Conduct legal and factual research. Maintain regular correspondence with clients. Maintain client files in an electronic database and physical archive. Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and various entities. Track filings and deadlines. Maintain Case Status Reports for each client. Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment with maximum accuracy. Should have strong attention to detail and keen attention to deadlines. Should have the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Should be able to handle confidential and sensitive materials. Should have excellent professional communication skills. Should have experience with Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Problem-solving skills, must be a quick learner.
