Litigation Paralegal The candidate provides support to lawyers during the entire litigation process from the initial information-gathering stage through discovery and trial, and ending with careful archival of case material. Assists with a range of legal support by conducting research and gathering the appropriate documentation. The candidate should have a Bachelor s degree or equivalent related work experience. Must be ABA approved Paralegal course of study or North Carolina State Paralegal Certification. Should maintain Certification through Continuing Legal Education. Must have 5+ years of litigation and trial experience required in the legal field. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel essential. Excellent writing skills (proper use of punctuation, spelling, grammar, diction and style) needed. Must possess high level communication skills (written and verbal).
