Legal Secretary Litigation Candidate will provide legal and administrative support to multiple attorneys. Will be highly responsible and accountable position requires the individual to work independently, anticipate needs, be proactive, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism. Document production and file management. Draft, proofread and edit correspondence and legal documents. Client interaction/communication with clients, courts, and attorneys. Legal calendaring via Compulaw and other electronic court rule programs. Understanding and command of software applications. Management of multiple calendars, appointments and travel arrangements. Preparation of travel/expense reimbursements. Assist other secretaries and perform other duties as assigned to support the secretarial team and office attorneys. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED; Associates/ Bachelor's degree preferred. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Omega timekeeping and DMS (iManage) or similar software, E-Copy and Compulaw (preferred). Significant litigation experience; trial experience preferred. Experience with administrative hearings, particularly those related to Special Education (preferred). Extensive experience with e-filing in administrative, state and federal courts. Interest in education law (preferred). Must deliver excellent work and superior service to the Firm and the Firm's clients. Must also have strong organizational and time management skills, communicate effectively and be flexible as demands and priorities change. Working with multiple attorneys; litigation experience required; transactional law.
