Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 3 - 5 years of employment litigation experience. Will be responsible for: Drafting complaints and demands for arbitration. Drafting discovery requests and responses. Drafting pleadings and basic motions. Drafting and filing complaints and demand for arbitration. Filing documents in all California courts (Los Angeles, San Mateo, Orange County, San Diego, etc.). Drafting deposition notices, objections, notices of rulings and meet and confer correspondences. Calendaring. Compiling and organizing trial binders and exhibits, drafting basic MILs, jury instructions, verdict forms and trial briefs. Performing a number of other related duties, which may not be specifically included within this job description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described. Should preferbly have A.B.A. Accredited Paralegal Certification or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree is desired. 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience is required.
