Corporate Practice Assistant/Legal Secretary The candidate will support attorneys in the Corporate Transactions, M&A and [IP] practice groups. Will support partners and associates with legal and administrative tasks to include document management, opening and closing of files, calendaring, travel arrangements, meeting/conference scheduling, closing binders and other special projects. Manage attorneys calendars, coordinates meetings, schedules conference rooms, and makes travel arrangements as required. Prepare forms for expense reports, check requests, etc.
The candidate must possess a high degree of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience or strong aptitude/high learning curve to: Manage and process revisions to merger and acquisition deal documents, venture financing documents; Use digital data rooms such as Ansarada, DropBox, Box, etc; Use DocuSign and similar corporate transactional applications; Use Adobe and preparing, editing, formatting in electronic form (pdf) closing documents, signature pages and binders; Prepare, edit and format legal documents, including, closing documents, signature pages.
