Boasting one of California’s premier Municipal and Public law practices, this Los Angeles firm currently represents a number of cities and redevelopment agencies throughout the state. Although salaries are 30-40% below market, the firm’s lawyers are highly competent and regularly work on very high-profile cases.
Seeking Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years experience (more experience highly desirable). Candidate will be able to conduct discovery, write motions, appear in court, assist with research and strategy, and manage the day-to-day aspects of a case, including client interface, with minimal supervision. Experience with public agencies, administrative and quasi-judicial proceedings, and representation in Title VII and FEHA cases is strongly preferred. Must be committed to labor and employment litigation, but may also assist in advising clients on a range of issues including public retirement systems, Cal/OSHA compliance, labor negotiations, and disciplinary matters. May also occasionally be asked to assist with non-employment litigation. California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills, and strong academic credentials are required.
