Litigation Paralegal Duties: Perform legal and non-legal research in litigation matters. Draft pleadings, discovery, briefs, memorandums and correspondence. Ensure timely responses to legal notices and subpoenas. Prepare, analyze and proofread summaries of documents and other records. Maintain case management system assisting attorneys with organization and maintenance of documents. Assist attorneys with trial and deposition preparation. Obtain information required to comply with subpoenas, request for production of documents, or other forms of pretrial discovery. Assist with overflow paralegal support to balance team workload.
Requirements: Certification from accredited paralegal program (preferred). 2+ years work experience at a law firm or legal environment. Experience using MS Office, iManage, Westlaw and Relativity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
