Litigation Paralegal The candidate will contribute to the Product Liability & Environmental practice group on medical device, pharmaceutical and other products liability complex litigation matters. Will work with the practice group to defend, resolve and try product liability, environmental, commercial, and/or complex mass tort cases. Work as part of a dynamic team, including experienced and recognized lawyers and an advanced in-house technology department for managing litigation. Put into practice advanced case management skills, seeing a case from inception through discovery, trial preparation, trial and post-trial phases of matter. Review, analyze and organize litigation documents; prepare and file pleadings and discovery. Provide clear and complete work delegation to associates, legal administrative assistants and other support staff as necessary. Monitor on-going case activity and pending deadlines. Paralegal certificate, or a four-year college degree is required. Must have 5-7 years of large law firm, complex litigation experience. Trial preparation and experience is required. Should have knowledge and commitment in the use of technology for litigation support and trial preparation. Must have willingness to travel.
