Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate will work closely with multiple attorneys composing correspondence and pleadings, creating documents for trial and administrative hearings, filing documents internally and electronically with courts, coordinating calendar and meeting dates, communicating with clients and outside counsel, maintaining confidential client files, and assisting with special projects as requested.
The candidate must have 5+ years' experience as a legal secretary with at least 3 years of recent litigation experience in state and federal courts. Experience with the Real Estate Litigation group is a plus. Must have excellent written and verbal communication, grammar, and organizational skills. Experience with ECF filing rules and procedures is necessary to succeed in this position. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, is expected. Must be flexible, adapt to different work styles, take initiative and work independently and as part of the team while managing shifting priorities with grace and ease.
