Real Estate Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will multitask on phones, email, opening files, Drafting CPL, ordering Insurance Binders, Hoa, Mlc's, titles, plot plans, obtaining mortgage payoffs, discharging Liens. Prepare title commitments, clearing, and HUD/CD (with TRID guidelines), scheduling, preparation of bank closing packages and post-closing packages. Do Title examination, verify, review and compile information including but not limited to geographic information, property surveys, and legal description. Maintain closing activity reports and projections, acting as a liaison and coordinate document flow between internal agents, external agents, accountants, appraisers, sellers and title company. Schedule closings with title companies, Coordinate pre-closing inspections with internal inspectors. Review closing packages including settlement statements, title reports, commitments and policies and deeds. Review closing profiles and files for corporate and jurisdictional compliance, overall accuracy and completion including executed contract documentation, disclosures, flood certification, tenant files and leases. Initiate funding requests, Shipping closing packages via overnight when required. Order and review title commitments, CPL, exception documents and surveys, interfacing directly with the title company and surveyor to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Prepare and administrate of contract critical dates and closing checklists. Coordinate and assist with all aspects of closings, including preparation of conveyance documents, closing statements, and other closing documents. Attend to all post-closing requirements, including preparation of closing indices, the preparation and organization of closing binders, and monitoring all post-closing deliveries or requirements. Prepare of clear and concise correspondence and memorandum and of initial draft documents, amendments to agreements or leases and miscellaneous documents, including estoppel certificates, SNDAs and Memos of Lease, for attorney review. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Should preferably have 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
