JOB DESCRIPTION: Law Firm is seeking an experienced Transactions Paralegal to join our Real Estate, Corporate/Business Planning, and Mergers & Acquisitions team. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of paralegal experience, with a focus on real estate, corporate/business and mergers & acquisitions. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, excellent client service skills, and the ability to communicate with courts, attorneys, and tax authorities. Responsibilities: Performs legal research and analysis Drafts pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents Assists with the preparation of corporate documents, including minutes, resolutions and agreements Assists in the preparation of real estate documents, including leases, deeds, and closing documents Assists in the preparation of merger and acquisition documents, including due diligence and closing documents Obtains and organizes documents and information for attorneys Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness Interacts with clients, attorneys, and other personnel Maintains electronic and hard copy files Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: Associate degree in paralegal or legal studies or Paralegal Certificate Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred Minimum of five (5) years of paralegal experience Real estate, corporate/business and mergers & acquisitions experience Or, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience Knowledge of relevant computer applications Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality Salary Range: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour (DOE) Law Firm Transactions Paralegal Law Firm is seeking an experienced Transactions Paralegal to join our Real Estate, Corporate/Business Planning, and Mergers & Acquisitions team.
