Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be assisting trial counsel in all areas of client representation including drafting correspondence and pleadings; preparing discovery and discovery responses; document management; document production; preparing for depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial and supporting attorneys at trial. Should have a bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program and some prior insurance defense litigation experience. Must have knowledge of court rules, proficiency in paper and e-filing (state and federal), and knowledge of court websites and research skills, with a preference for federal court familiarity. Should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Must be able to handle project-based assignments, be willing to work overtime, if necessary, and be willing to travel for trial.Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States.
