Legal Secretary Corporate The candidate will maintain calendar, coordinates attorney's schedule, arranges domestic and international travel and makes appointments. Answers and screens attorney's telephone calls, and arranges domestic and international conference calls. Maintain timely input of attorney timesheets into the timekeeper system. Moderate document production. Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. Assist other secretaries as needed. 5+ years of previous Legal Secretary experience required. Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and have great follow through skills required. Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar, varies writing style to meet needs, able to read and interpret written information. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Strong overall administrative skills including, time sheets, travel, expense reports, copying, scanning and coordination of filing required. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and various legal software applications.Heavy knowledge of Word, plus basic Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required. Must have exceptional knowledge of Outlook calendaring and scheduling. Experience with billing is highly preferred.
