Litigation Associate The candidate should have 5+ years experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary. Experience must include work as litigation legal secretary. Strong knowledge of Local, State and Federal filing rules, deadlines etc. Strong experience with online electronic filing programs. Solid understanding of civil litigation rules, regulations, filing and calendaring dates and deadlines, court procedures etc. Preparing legal and non-legal documents (pleadings, correspondence, memorandums). Assist attorneys with scheduling, depositions, client meetings etc. Help maintain legal calendaring system. Assist and prepare document productions and subpoenas. Assist attorneys with all phases of discovery, trial preparation, mediation etc. Open, review and calendar and scan mail. Experience with all Microsoft office products - Especially Word and Outlook. Dictation experience. Be able to hand a fast-paced office environment. Be able to multitask numerous tasks at any given time and be able to prioritize. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and communication skills. High level of detail and accuracy on any project.
