Litigation Legal Secretary Duties: Scheduling consultations, appointments, depositions, etc. Maintaining and updating attorney calendars. Routine telephone calls with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks, court reporters, etc. Opening, stamping, scanning, imaging, uploading, routing, and filing of all incoming and outgoing mail. Preparing pleadings for court filing (State and Federal) and service. Electronically file/serve documents. Preparing exhibit binders and hearing/trial binders for attorneys. Draft client correspondence. Perform administrative support functions, such as scanning documents, e-mailing documents to clients, maintaining and updating electronic and physical files, meeting with clients, preparing and submitting check requests and expenditure request forms, scheduling and reserving conference rooms, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree desired and 3+ years of litigation legal secretary experience. Strong working knowledge of Forms WorkFlow, CompuLaw, and iManage. Proficient in Microsoft Word. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work as a team with attorneys and staff members. Strong sense of discretion. Professional appearance and professional communication with clients and co-workers.
