Legal Secretary (Litigation) The candidate's duties include: provide high-level, administrative support to attorneys in the Litigation Practice Section. Attorneys focus on active, complex litigation matters including commercial, insurance, construction, energy, and oil and gas. Will effectively support attorneys in preparing for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Should have strong technical skills needed to prepare and edit legal documents and handle filings with proficiency. Must have excellent organizational skills necessary to efficiently manage files, calendars, and travel. Should have top-notch communication skills, poise, and professionalism vital for interaction with clients and various levels of legal staff. Keen eye for detail is essential. Should be a proactive, resourceful legal secretary to help identify potential issues and ensure the litigation team is well-prepared to provide unmatched client service. Ideal candidate will be a contributing team member who can manage multiple projects and priorities. Must have 3-5 years of legal secretarial experience in a large law firm setting with a solid understanding of the litigation process. Advanced-level computer skills required including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge in NetDocs, Intapp Time, and Chrome River a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred. Bilingual skills a plus.
