Business Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to prepare and file petitions/USCIS applications, including extensive drafting of written supporting documents. Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues. Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to supervising attorney. Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, making copies, filing, etc. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in business immigration law (including knowledge of employment-based immigrant and non immigrant matters, such as: H-1B, L-1, O-1, P-1, E-2, PERM and EB-1). A Bachelor's Degree (English, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred) is required. Must poses strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non immigrant and immigrant visas. Experience drafting and gathering documentation for Request for Evidence is required. Solid MS Word, Excel, spelling, grammar and typing skills are must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must have ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities are critical. Should be able to achieve a high level of productivity with accuracy. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignment. Must have experience managing a large caseload and have strong multitasking skills.
