Senior Litigation Paralegal The candidate will also experience a fostering, positive environment with many opportunities for professional development and growth to take a career to the next level. Accurately Draft Petitions, Answers, Discovery, Motions, Demands, and other legal documents as needed. Coordinate with Attorney and also work independently toward case development. Schedule and calendar all meetings, hearings, depositions, and mediations. E-File appropriate documents with the court and E-Serve all necessary parties. Coordinate with vendors to meet all case deadlines. Continually communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and mediators. Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subzero liens). Accurately maintain case management data in Salesforce. Prepare trial documents and assist Attorney with trial preparation. Assist Attorney with trial as needed. Supervise staff for naming/filing all litigation documents and maintaining file completeness and accuracy Should have experience in personal injury practice and pursues case development in coordination with Attorney; excellent with written and verbal communication; efficient and effective with overall time management. Determined to learn and adapt to a high-paced atmosphere. Detail-oriented and highly organized. A paralegal certificate is highly preferred. Should have 3-5 years of experience required in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm; proficiency in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents; proficiency in communicating with injured clients and their medical providers; proficiency in e-filing and e-service. Should have experience in ordering medical records and affidavits; experience with depositions on written questions; experience with 18.001 affidavits and counter-affidavits; experience scheduling meetings, hearings, mediations, and travel for multiple attorneys; proficient knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation. Available to work 40+ hours per week including weekends and holidays as needed. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
