Immigration Paralegal - USCIS at The Matian Firm, APC The Matian Firm, APC is seeking a USCIS Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and case management skills. Knowledge of USCIS filings, such as I-485, I-130, N-400, and affirmative asylum is preferred. This paralegal will participate in all aspects of our cases, from client communication to case review, analysis, preparation and filing of applications and petitions. Job Responsibilities: Prepare immigration applications for filing with USCIS, including I-130, I-485, N-400, VAWA, I-290B, etc. Prepare forms, letters, documents, and correspondence for attorney review. Maintain extensive communication with clients to provide case status and outstanding customer service. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management systems, including CLIO and Airtable. Make regular updates to our case management systems, including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. Complete assignments and communicate case status to the Legal Supervisor. Demonstrate strategic thinking and initiative concerning case assignments. Qualifications: 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience. Knowledge of USCIS filings, such as I-130, I-485, VAWA, N-400, N-600, I-131, TPS Renewal, I-589, I-765, I-929, I-290B, and I-601.
