Law Firm: Federal Litigation Paralegal - Deaf Discrimination and Civil Rights Law firm Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, located in Manhattan's Union Square, is looking for a qualified legal assistant/paralegal to work on Federal Litigation Matters dealing with Civil Rights and Disability Discrimination of Deaf People, Tech Discrimination, as well as Race and Sex Discrimination. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, tech-savvy and have strong writing skills. Advanced degree is a plus. Responsibilities: Manage litigation docket and filing deadlines Assist in preparing and responding to discovery Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other filings Assist attorneys in researching and analyzing legal issues and documents Assist with trial preparation and on-site trial support Prepare and organize legal documents and exhibits Maintain client contact and case information Perform administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field Ability to understand and interpret legal documents Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software programs Advanced knowledge of legal research tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Must be willing to learn sign language, as we offer classes Highly organized and detail-oriented Eisenberg & Baum, LLP is offering a competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate, as well as a congenial work environment and a great opportunity to work with some of the top litigators in the field.
