Paralegal - Real Estate Duties: Provides a comprehensive range of support to attorneys and to clients in our Real Estate practice. Monitor and manage all aspects of complex real estate transaction files. Conduct title and survey reviews, prepare title review summaries, coordinate with title and escrow companies regarding closing and title policy issues. Manage due diligence activities to include creating and monitoring close and due diligence checklists. Conduct UCC and other searches. Assist in the preparation of RE documents, exhibits and schedules. Manage and coordinate closings. Prepare closing books and addressing post-closing matters. Qualifications: Paralegal qualifications. 3+ years' CA real estate experience with a large law firm. Construction lending experience a plus. Highly developed skills in time and task management.Ability to pay close attention to detail and be highly organized and accurate. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office computerized business applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and legal research and document retention databases. Strong analytic and writing skills. Willingness to adapt to and learn new technology, software programs, and upgrades. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, attorneys, staff members, and other business contacts, are required. Ability to communicate and handle stressful situations in a professional, calm, courteous manner. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, service environment. Ability to read and write in English
