Litigation Paralegal - Workers' Compensation The candidate will aggressively defend cases throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, representing Employers, Carriers, and Self-Insured and cases from the Deputy Commissioner level to the Supreme Court. Managing multiple cases from file opening to hear. Legal research using LexisNexis and other sources. Filing, scanning, and indexing documents to case files as well as reading, comprehending, and organizing medical records. Should be well organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable with the willingness and ability to learn and implement a defined prioritization system. Must have demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to read and understand what they are reading at an advanced level. Previous experience in a Workers' Com or Personal Injury environment is preferred. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills is a must.
