Job Details
Below is detailed information about the job you selected.
Location : - Virginia
Refer to Job # RXBB10586
The Mid-Atlantic legal market is unusual. Often, one of the better law firms will have its central office in a smaller market, maintaining a satellite office in Washington DC. This firm is a good example of a firm whose Washington DC presence is much more a cog in the wheel than driving the train. Therefore, this solid and growing firm (who recently acquired a smaller firm, bringing its total attorneys to over 200) does a good job of balancing the power center of the firm over its many locations throughout Virginia and up the East Coast. Although this firm has every major practice area, the corporate section has been the most vital in recent years in terms of growth and development. The Washington office itself sees a good bit of traditional regulatory work, but often works in concert with lawyers out of the Richmond office. A small firm feel overall with a mid-sized regional presence, this firm will likely continue to establish its mark in the region.
Virginia office seeks a legal secretary with 3 years of related experience within a large law firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and computer file management system is required. Accurate typing speed of 65+ wpm with solid grammar skills is required. Experience in business, corporate finance/securities, public finance, trust/estates, maritime, litigation (employment, commercial, personal injury) is desired.
