Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents, including, pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, expert reports and discovery-related materials. Cite-checking (legal and factual), blue-booking, and Shepardizing briefs. Managing case files and matter documents through e-Rooms and iManage. Ensuring filings and e-filings comply with court and agency rules, including TTAB and PTAB rules. Assisting attorneys with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas, and assisting with preparation for depositions and witness interviews. Assisting with preparation for hearings and trials, including preparation of exhibits. Assisting with document review, searches, and productions through various platforms, e.g., Relativity, Concordance, etc. Calculating and managing federal court, TTAB, and PTAB deadlines.
Qualifications: Four year degree preferred. Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited program preferred. 2-4 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a preference for intellectual property litigation. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
