Bankruptcy Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 5+ years bankruptcy experience in Arizona law. Experience must include Chapter 11 bankruptcy (Committee and Debtor representation and trustee work); drafting and filing pleadings from petition to final decree; noticing per court rules; analysis of claims; adversary litigation; work with U.S. Trustee's Office and Bankruptcy Court Clerks; liquidating Chapter 11 Debtors, including creation of trust, establish banking, terminate various accounts, insurance policies; complying with I.R.S. requirements; make disbursements to creditors, and other related items to close company and Chapter 11 case; along with general secretarial duties. In addition to being professional, dependable and highly organized, the ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of rules and procedures. Drafting, Windows 10; Microsoft Office 2016; Word 2016; use of Styles, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities; Excel 2016; PowerPoint; Use of Templates/Themes; E-DOCS document management system; Workshare; Adobe DC experience is required.
