Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be preparing for depositions and trials; drafting, formatting, proofreading and filing a variety of legal correspondence, briefs, motions, and pleadings; document organization and filing maintenance. Must have Bachelor s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent work experience. Should have 3 years of litigation experience working on complex sophisticated litigation matters in a large law firm setting. Excellent project management skills, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities is required. General working knowledge of legal proceedings, and understanding of rules and procedures in Federal and State Courts ( predominantly in Texas) is needed. Proficient knowledge in the litigation database Eclipse is preferred. Proficient knowledge in other platforms such as Concordance and Summation is needed. Superior technological and computer capabilities (specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel) is must.
