Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for the management of numerous assigned motor vehicle accident cases from intake through the pre-litigation process, including demand. Will conduct intake meetings with new clients. Maintain contact with clients on a regular basis, including providing clients with case status updates. Obtain, review, and interpret medical and billing records. Manage medical care of clients. Collect documentation of client damages such as medical records, bills, loss of income, etc. Prepare various documents and correspondence including detailed settlement demand letters and billing inquiries. Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding status of claims. Provide settlement negotiation information to attorney and clients, and relay same to adjusters. Negotiate lien reductions with providers and facilities. Organize and maintain client case files. The candidate should have 2+ years of personal injury case management with specific experience handling motor vehicle accident cases. Must be familiar with relevant laws regarding personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance. Working knowledge of MS Office suite and case management software, experience using Needles is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills: bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
