Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist in all phases of a matter from case inception through trial, appeal, and/or resolution. Will manage cases, calendars, and deadlines. Will coordinate and support all phases of paper and electronic discovery process, including working closely with our e-discovery litigation support manager to coordinate collection, processing, production, review, and management of ESI. Will prepare for depositions, including coordinating logistics and transcripts and preparation of witness files, exhibits, notices and subpoenas, and deposition summaries. Will assist with and prepare for meetings with clients, witnesses, experts, and outside counsel. Will assist with trial preparation and logistics, including management of war room(s), preparation of witness files, management of exhibits, setting up trial space, and attending trial (hot seating), as needed. Will prepare documents for filing with courts, agencies, and arbitrations or mediations, including cite and fact checking legal briefs, conforming citations to the Bluebook and/or court rules, proofreading, assembling exhibits and appendices, generating tables of contents and authorities, and submitting electronic court filings; Perform a breadth of substantive factual research and analytical work; Mentor and train junior paralegals; Remain current in technology developments in the legal industry . The candidate must have Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate preferred. Should be detail-oriented, proactive, strong analytical abilities, and resourcefulness. Should have excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills. Should have strong written and oral communication skills. Should have ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks with changing priorities; Expertise in all stages of litigation process. Should have 5 years relevant experience in litigation. Should have proven ability to work well in teams, and to develop and maintain quality relationships with staff, lawyers, clients, and vendors. Should have flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
