Temporary Employment Litigation Paralegal The candidate performs legal and factual research. Organizes and indexes case documents including records received from clients, third parties, and opposing counsel. Analyzes state, federal, and local court rules in various jurisdictions. Drafts pleadings, motions, and discovery under attorney supervision. Drafts subpoenas, coordinates service, and maintains subpoena tracking tables. Prepares chronologies. Prepares documents for production including identification and redaction of personal identifying information and information subject to attorney-client privilege. Manages collection of forensic evidence and ESI. Prepares affidavits or declarations and corresponding documents. Compiles evidence in support of motions including cites to deposition testimony. Summarizes depositions. Prepares for mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Prepares witness lists, exhibit lists, and trial notebook. Assists attorneys in all aspects of litigation and at trial. Enters time into firm system on a daily basis. Should have 6+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably for a large employment litigation practice. Paralegal certification / degree from accredited college or university is preferred.
