Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Organizes data behind legal proceedings Format and files briefs, pleadings and other legal documents in state and federal courts. Prepare responses to complaints and discovery requests, Maintains attorney time records and accurate billing. Transcribes dictation from attorneys. Corresponds with clients verbally and in writing and represents the attorney to the client in a professional manner, Maintain attorneys calendars. Manage travel and schedule. Coordinate travel arrangements; prepares itineraries; prepare, compile and maintain travel vouchers and records. Gather all documents and organize them to be used throughout the case and trial Respect strict confidentiality requirements with regard to client files. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates client files in the firm's document management system. Retrieves information from files when needed. Proofreads documents for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
