Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Assist in all phases of a matter from case inception through trial or resolution. Assist with document collections, document reviews and document productions. Coordinate management of case documents, including organization, review and production of documents. Consult with firms eDiscovery Resource Management team to manage document databases and coordinate electronic discovery proceedings. Assist with the preparation of court filings, including cite and fact checking legal briefs, confirming proper Bluebook citation, proofreading and assembling of services copies, exhibits and appendices. Assist with depositions, including preparation of witness files, exhibits, notices and subpoenas and deposition summaries. Ability to conduct factual and legal research, including review and analysis of public records, monitoring legislative and administrative proceedings as necessary. Assist with trial preparation and logistics, including preparation of witness files, management of exhibits, setting up trial space and attending trial, as required. Understands mechanics of e-filing and e-files with state and federal courts and agencies Qualifications: Minimum 3 years Litigation experience. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved school, College Degree. Experience with all states of litigation, including intake, discovery and trial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, LexisNexis, Westlaw and Bloomberg Law required. Experience with Relativity document hosting database and litigation support software, including LiveNote, CaseMap and Eclipse. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Strong Organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of matters and manage time and expectations. Strong attention to detail, accountability and judgment skills. Ability to communicate with individuals of all levels within the firm in a courteous and professional manner. Experience coordinating all logistics for trials/arbitrations/mediation, including negotiating workspace, setting up remote office space (in coordination with Litigation Support Services) and coordinating with vendors.
