Entry-Level Securities Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for providing support to the securities litigation attorneys in the Class Action Recovery group. Will report to a designated member in charge of securities litigation and the Section Manager. Aid institutional investors to monitor, evaluate, and participate in securities class actions, and securities settlements. Oversee settlements, and prepare complex claims many of which are electronic. Prepare reports for clients. Calculate losses in complex securities transactions. Maintain constant communication with claims centers, clients, and class action attorneys. Review pleadings, depositions, and other documents. Assist with the preparation of various presentations. Perform additional duties as assigned. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong math skills essential. Strong organizational and administrative skills needed. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint essential. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
