Litigation Legal Secretary Duties: Assistance with preparation of pleadings and discovery in Federal and State court civil matters and arbitration proceedings. Analyze, summarize and organize documents and data from materials produced during discovery; Coordinate document production; analyze, summarize and review of privileged documents. Prepare and respond to discovery requests; prepare deposition summaries. Trial preparation; preparation and management of trial exhibits and other trial related presentations skills. Requirements: ABA Paralegal Certificate. Experience in defense litigation as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal (Preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Federal and State Rules of Civil Procedure. Must be flexible in job duties and willing to learn. Communication skills are extremely important.
