Litigation Paralegal The candidate will help support the Litigation & Government Enforcement Group's needs by working on complex litigation, investigations, and/or arbitration matters. By working effectively with attorneys and case teams across offices, the litigation paralegal will play a central role in helping support the firm's key clients, and will provide support in process management through different stages of litigation. Must have 5+ years of full cycle litigation experience, paralegal certificate a plus. Know how to research and look up various courts' local rules regarding filing deadlines, and pull filings from a court's docket system. Should have knowledge of local court systems, judges, and judicial processes. Must have experience preparing attorneys for depositions, drafting pleadings and other documents. Prepare exhibits and supporting documentations for court filings and trial prep. Experience preparing and overseeing document review projects and document productions to litigants or government agencies is required. Understanding the process to serving discovery and other pleadings on opposing parties, while maintaining an organized filing system. Knowledge of MS Office, Excel required; experience with Relativity, Compulaw, Lexis/Westlaw, Best Authority preferred. Four-year degree preferred.
