Real Estate Banking Paralegal The candidate works in the Banking department. Responsibilities include to: Assist with closings, closing schedules and represent the lender at closing proceedings; Title Review; and assisting attorneys with any task assigned. Provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Assist with closings, closing schedules and represent the lender at closing proceedings. Handle due diligence gathering; review of board meeting minutes/notes; review offering plans for banks; prepare closing statements; review title reports/lien searches; execute/conduct closings on behalf of the lender. Preparation of banking documents. Transaction assistance. Document review and drafting. Meeting scheduling and management, and coordinating schedules. File creation, organization and maintenance. Interaction with various executive level clients. The duties and functions will require confidentiality, initiative, and sound decision-making. Manage incoming correspondence (emails, mail) and upload same in case database. Should have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to suggest and implement change to improve operational efficiency. Bachelor's degree is required. Notary Public in the state of New York is needed. Must have prior experience as a real estate banking paralegal. Should have experience with Real Estate Bank Closings. Must have experience with Title Review.
