Immigration Paralegal/Writer Duties: Providing substantial writing support to the Immigration attorneys on our extraordinary abilities cases. Preparation and filing of business and employment-related immigration documentation with respect to O-1 visa and EB-1(a) and (b) green card petitions. Prepare and finalize reference letters. Prepare employer support letters. Review and analyze exhibits. Draft forms and send out receipt and approval notices to clients. Communicate regularly with government clients and agencies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or Business/Technical Writing preferred. 3-5 years of professional work experience required. Experience in either a business immigration or law firm setting a plus. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have outstanding case management skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion. Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability and logical thought process. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and meet various deadlines. Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Outstanding sense of customer service. Enthusiastic, proactive and positive attitude. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Must be self-motivated to produce quality work. High level of integrity and honesty. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
