Litigation Paralegal Duties : Will assist attorneys with a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage claims occurring offshore on navigable waters and adjacent properties. Assisting attorneys with case management, including the management of electronic files. Overseeing the progress of discovery document organization and production. Filing pleadings with state and federal courts, including electronic filings. Maintaining client files. Preparing files for trial and assisting in the organization of trial exhibits and appendices. Requirements : The candidate should have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Familiarity with trial presentation software and document management software is a must. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certificate required. Prior experience with a defense firm is preferred.
