Litigation Paralegal The candidate is responsible for solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal deadlines and rules). Prepare and file (both electronic and manual) pleadings and motion/responses, discovery (incoming and outbound) and all corresponding calendaring. Prepare and file documents using various attorney service vendors such as E-filing (CM/ECF) documents in Federal Court. Make record requests, follow-up, and summarize medical records. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Routine communications with clients and attorneys about case status and preparation. The candidate must have a Paralegal certification. Minimum of 5 years experience as a litigation paralegal is needed. Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision is required. High proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is must. Should be highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
