Immigration Paralegal - EOIR at The Matian Firm, APC The Matian Firm, APC is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join their growing EOIR team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience, and possess excellent customer service and case management skills. Previous experience with EOIR, knowledge with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is highly preferred. Responsibilities: * Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the Immigration Court, BIA and 9th Circuit, when applicable. * Communicate with clients and attorneys for the preparation of upcoming Master, Bond, and Individual hearings. * Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems to meet both internal and external deadlines. * Follow internal office procedures. * Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. * Maintain electronic copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients. * Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases. * Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload. * Complete assignments and communicate case progress on a weekly basis. Qualifications: * At least 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. * Previous experience with EOIR. Knowledge with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is highly preferred. * Experience with Case Management Software, such as Clio and Airtable.
