Legal Secretary - Real Estate/Hospitality The candidate prepares, edits and proofreads a wide variety of real estate/transactional documents, including correspondence, agreements, purchase and sale contracts, leases, and other legal materials using transcription equipment and word processing, document comparison and document management software. Manages the busy work and personal calendars and schedules of the attorneys; coordinates travel arrangements meetings and events; enters attorney time and processes expense reimbursements. Maintains a calendar of important client deadlines and updates appointment details as they are scheduled. Some personal assistant tasks part of daily responsibilities. Interacts with clients, attorneys and staff to manage client billing and new business intake; provides administrative support to other legal secretaries whenever necessary to meet Firm and client needs. Must have advanced knowledge of real estate transactions and real estate documents. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), document management, document compare programs and general office equipment. Knowledge of InterAction (CRM program) preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree preferred. Must have 5+ years' experience as a legal secretary in the real estate department of a large law firm.
