Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will provide paralegal support to multiple attorneys in our firm, including providing assistance with commercial real estate closings. Performing title searches, coordinating title work, drafting preliminary title opinions and final title opinions, and recording documents for Closing (both in person and e-recording). Coordinating due diligence for commercial real estate transactions. Organizing and coordinating closings, including preparing closing checklists, settlement statements, and closing binders. Drafting closing documents (deeds, lien waivers, consent resolutions, etc.). Bachelor's Degree. NC paralegal certification is a plus. Minimum of three (3) years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm. Must be organized, detail oriented and have strong collaboration and client service skills, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and able to work independently to drive projects from start to completion in a timely manner to meet client deadlines. Experience and proficiency in the use of technology such as Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Softpro is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including solid grammar skills.
