Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal will assist in handling a variety of cases representing owners, developers, managers, contractors, design professionals, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and other private, municipal and educational corporations. Identify and docket incoming and outgoing case documents. Stay ahead, and on top, of case deadlines and events. Review and identify investigation/claim materials. Review and identify contracts and construction records. Review, identify, and summarize medical records. Conduct online search and investigation. Prepare memos regarding document review and other findings. Process record authorizations. Draft routine legal notices, discovery demands, and responses. Draft discovery motions. Prepare exhibits to third-party pleadings, discovery responses, depositions, motions, mediation position papers, and trial. Assist in finalizing and serving legal documents. Prepare good faith letters. Draft litigation budgets. Assist in preparation for depositions, court conferences, mediation, and trials. E-file legal documents in both State and Federal Courts. Compile and assemble IME records. Identifying medical experts and coordinating IMEs. Draft RJI, RADI, and other court forms. Compile and assemble records on appeal. Organize and manage the paper filing on handled cases. Account for time spent on billable and non-billable legal tasks, including maintaining an up-to-date electronic billing record. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Must have Previous experience in personal injury defense. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills are required. Experience in using the ABA Uniform Task-Based Management System in budgeting and accounting for paralegal time is required. Experience with Time Matters a plus.
