Associates are allowed to choose the practice areas and specific assignments that interest them, and they will be challenged with responsibility and client contact.
Paralegal - Patent Prosecution The candidate will assist with all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution across multiple clients. Will coordinate filing new applications. Analyze USPTO and foreign counsel correspondence. Track due dates via matter management and docketing systems. Proactively prepare client reporting's and prosecution documents. Communicate with USPTO, attorneys, paralegals, liaisons, foreign associates, staff and clients regarding prosecution matters. A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification is desirable. Must have 5-10 years of experience working with intellectual property and patent prosecution with 2+ years of law firm experience. Trademark prosecution experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and expertise working with an extensive patent prosecution docket are required.
