**Immigration Paralegal - Consular Processing at The Matian Firm, APC** The Matian Firm, APC is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal - Consular Processing to join our growing Immigration legal team in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will have a client-service attitude with excellent case management skills, and legal knowledge of immigration-related laws. The Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing non-immigrant petitions, as well as other duties. **Responsibilities:** - Analyze documents and prepare USCIS forms I-130, I-601A, I-601, I-212, I-824, and I-129F - Obtain various FOIA record requests on behalf of clients - Perform client interviews to draft declarations - Prepare clients for Consular Interviews abroad - Communicate with USCIS and NVC regarding procedural and case processing issues - Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems - Follow internal office procedures - Make regular updates to our case management system, including client information, case tracking information, and client communications - Maintain hard copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients - Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases - Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload - Complete assignments and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisors **Qualifications:** - At least 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required - Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field - Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications. - Experience with Case Management Software **Compensation & Benefits:** The Matian Firm, APC offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, catered lunches, complimentary parking, paid time off, and more!
