Paralegal (Litigation - Complex Tort) The candidate will be managing the day to day toxic tort cases which are assigned to an attorney/paralegal team. Will be managing the case from the date the case is answered through the trial. Initial case preparation. Updating case management database. Utilizing the Calendaring System. Drafting client specific pretrial discovery and monitoring the responses. Drafting an executive summary and case summary. Following up on all depositions and compiling the deposition summaries. Compiling materials for attorneys who are attending various court appearances, depositions and trials. Making the initial determination regarding product identification. Compiling summary judgment materials and exhibits. Subpoenaing Trust documents. Subpoenaing and noticing co-worker and expert depositions. All phases of trial preparation, including jury questionnaires, trial binders, exhibit binders motions in limine and more. Must have 5+ years of litigation experience including extensive trial support experience. Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Summation are essential. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills essential.
