Legal Secretary- Employment & Labor The candidate will provide administrative and litigation support to as many as four or five lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. Also provide back - up assistance to corporate and intellectual property lawyers and professionals. Responsible for legal secretarial and administrative tasks including, but not limited to: document creation, editing and preparation, including litigation documents; client and administrative filing; time entry; expense reimbursement processing; client billing and accrual assistance; travel arrangements; email and calendar maintenance. Handle confidential information as necessary. Maintain lawyers contacts lists in Outlook and InterAction. Client contact in person and over the phone. Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. The candidate should preferably have College degree. Must have 5+ years of recent legal secretarial experience in a mid- to large-size law firm. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and multi-task. Ability to work in a high-volume environment. Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills required. Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook; must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint essential. Ability to prioritize and handle ever-changing priorities. Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player and be committed to providing a high level of client service.
