Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 3 years experience in handling catastrophic injury cases in various stages of litigation. Must be able to work up a file with minimal supervision from intake thru trial preparation including drafting of correspondence, Notices of Claim, Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Discovery Demands/Responses, RJI s, Notes of Issue, Subpoenas, Notices of Intention and Expert Witness Disclosures. The candidate should be able to read medical records, be familiar with No-Fault and sections 200, 240 and 241 of the Labor Law of the State of New York. Exceptional organizational skills and willingness to work as part of a team are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook necessary. Familiarity with Smart Advocate case management system is a plus, as is fluency in Spanish.
