Paralegal - Litigation Duties: Draft legal documents. Compile, analyze and summarize data. Perform legal research. Manage files to ensure information is organized according to standards. Perform factual and technical investigation and analysis of case issues. Assist in all phases of case preparation including discovery and trial. Prepare for and attend nationwide trials. Account for daily time and detail of work on each case through an online time tracking system. Apply Summation and Trial Director tools to cases (receive free in-house training on these elite litigation support tools if you have not had experience to use them). Maintain experienced-level of expertise in relevant software programs. Supervise and evaluate assigned Legal Secretary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. Paralegal certificate is a plus. 5+ years previous litigation experienced preferred. Hands-on experience using litigation support tools including Summation, Trial Director and CompuLaw preferred OR evidence of the ability to readily learn and effectively apply litigation support tools to the position. Proven experience in a courtroom. Advanced research and writing skills. Superior client service skills. Proven success in meeting Attorney expectations as part of the case team. Proven organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using Summation, Trial Director and CompuLaw tools preferred. Impeccable attention to detail.
