Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Personal Injury Litigation The candidate will be a member of one of litigation teams, working under the direction of one of senior paralegals. The ability to speak and read Spanish fluently is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Preparation of a wide range legal documents (pleadings, discovery, motions). Review case files to ensure that all necessary information is complete and accurate. Request medical records. Monitor calendar to ensure that all conferences, orders, are complied with in a timely fashion. Communicating with clients. Record and store client information in case management system. Assist in the preparation of case files for settlement and trial. Must have 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant for a New York personal injury litigation firm (this is a deal breaker - applicants without New York personal injury experience will not be considered).
